It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou (Jones) McKinney of Salem, Missouri, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Kennith Land Sr.; her parents, James Jones and Marie Jones Cantrell (Lee); her stepfather Lex Cantrell; her siblings, Lena Flemming (Cecil), Wanda Hebitwaite Davis and Jimmy Jones (Steve Cantrell); and her grandson Adam Land.
She is survived by: her husband Buddy McKinney of Salem, MO; her children, Vicky Pogue (Jeff Sr.) and Kenny Land Jr.; her stepdaughter Erin Lee; her siblings, Donna Schmidt, Nancy Hayes (Roger), Debra Lee, Jerry Jones (Teresa), Ricky Cantrell and Bruce Cantrell (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Josh "Bo" Land, Danielle Boyher (Michael), Tyler Land, Audriana Land, Missy Thompson (Steve), Jeffrey Pogue Jr. (Kim) and Dustin Pogue. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
