With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Jean (Miriani) Fernau of Salem, Missouri, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Frances Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Fernau; and her parents, Frank Miriani and Mary Ann. She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Fernau (Laura Miller), Chris Fernau (Dottie) and Corey Fernau (Marla) of Salem, MO; and her grandchildren, Keawe, Keoni and Keanu. She is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
