It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Morris Lay of Salem, Missouri, who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Lay and Eula Lay (Norris); and his brother Herman Lay (Ruth). He is survived by: his wife Carol Lay of Salem, MO; his sons, Eric Lay (Emily) of Holden, MO and Cody Lay (Amber); his grandchildren, Ella, Ethan, Camron, Brooklynn, Katy and Dallas; and his niece Debbie Griggs of Springdale, AR. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Gary to the Shepherd's Nook Food Pantry and left with Wilson Mortuary.
