He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Glen Hamilton and Jean Hamilton; and his birth parents, Earl Slayton and Patricia Williams Freeland. He is survived by: his close friend Jarriel "Jay" Brewer of Salem, MO; his children, Allister Hamilton (Tara) of Albuquerque, NM, Mitchell Hamilton of Crocker, MO, Courtney Friend (Josh) of Crocker, MO and Caitlin Hamilton (Jason) of Crocker, MO; his siblings, Lynda Asby (David) of Kansas City, MO, Leslie Booth (Dan) of Kansas City, MO and David Hamilton (Sherry) of Selina, KS; and his grandchildren, Allister II, Alexander and Augustine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
