With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Ann Hamilton of Salem, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Edgar York and Fern York Hayes (Fipps); her husband Frederic "Fred" Hamilton; her brother Fred York; and her siblings-in-law, Hank Montrey and JoAnn Boatman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Nash (Gary) of Salem, MO, Karen Newkirk (Mike) of Rolla, MO and Angie Freeman (Chris) of McKinney, TX; her sisters, Jean McCluskey (Walt) of Edgar Springs, MO, Kay Stevenson of Canton, OH and Lynn Montrey of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Zander (David), Joshua Nash (Jaimi), Caleb Copeland, Cameron Copeland, Megan Zika (Chris), Brandon Newkirk (Kameron), Emily Freeman Black (Tim), Andrew Freeman (Lexie) and Hannah Freeman; and her great grandchildren, Atticus Zander, Maizi Nash, Adelyn Zika, Ross Zika and Vivienne Zander.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Null and Son Funeral Home (1010 Kingshighway, Rolla, MO 65401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the memorial garden at Full Gospel Church in Edgar Springs.
