With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie Marie Schafer (Salem, Missouri), who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Windfred Reed and Maymie Reed (Mauk); her husband Junior Schafer; her siblings, Sonny Reed, Wayne Reed and Glenna Reed; her children-in-law, Dennis Nash and Sandra Schafer; and her grandson Christian Schafer.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Nash of Lebanon, MO, Dennis Schafer (Cindy) of Rolla, MO, Debbie Hines (Tim) of Salem, MO and Larry Schafer (Shelley) of Salem, MO; and her sisters, Beverly Canaday of Salem, MO and Carol Lewis of Salem, MO.
