We bid farewell to June Lavada (Cover) Brooks of Salem, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 23, 2025 at the age of 93. June touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Noel Brooks; and her parents, Frank Cover and Bertha Cover (Short). She is survived by: her children, Rick Brooks of Raytown, MO, Dawn Paul of Salem, MO, Beth Light (Ron) of Salem, MO and Frank Brooks (Melissa) of Bourbon, MO; her sister Edith Faulkner of Boss, MO; her grandchildren, Heather Paul (Tonya), Dustin Brooks (Thad), April Hurd, Brittany Robbins (Chris), Jacob Brooks (Jessica) and Dakota Light (Briana); and her great grandchildren, Dawson (Bethany), Logan, Rylee and Emmett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
