It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Lee Fenton of Salem, Missouri, born in Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William George "Buss" and Opal Fenton (Hemken); his daughter Romana Fenton; and his siblings, Harold "Frog" Fenton (Elmer Fenton), Irene Ryan and Nola Nadine Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Lynn Elam; and his children, Gordon Fenton (Jennifer) of Salem, MO, Lynn Fenton of Salem, MO, Amy Brooks (Brent) of Laramie, WY, Janelle Morehouse (Brad) of Missoula, MT and Marsha Geninatti (Collin) of Salem, MO.. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grand Children.
