He is survived by: his wife Judy Apperson; his sons, Steven Apperson (Denise) of Millersburg, MO and Rob Apperson of Union, MO; his brother John Apperson (Virginia) of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, A. J. Papp (Naomi), Kevin Papp, Bradly Apperson (Kylee), Rachel Hinderliter (Keith), Samantha Pettus and Blaine Apperson; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Isabella, Nicholas and Henry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Morris "Bud" Apperson to the Salem Masonic Lodge #225 and left at Wilson Mortuary.
