It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Cavender of Salem, Missouri, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley Ann had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley Ann may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayman "Howard" Mayfield and Dorothy Mayfield (Higdon); her daughter Trisha Boulch; and her sister Debbie Camden. She is survived by: her husband Bill Cavender of Salem, MO; her children, Danny Webber (Susan Matthews) of Annapolis, MO, Kevin Webber (Brenda) of Annapolis, MO, Mark Webber (Jason Webber) of Annapolis, MO and Becky Britton of Salem, MO; and her siblings, Richard Holliday of Salem, MO and Catherine Bellew (Doug) of Fredericktown, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson Mortuary - Salem (1000 Scenic Rivers Blvd, Salem, MO 65560). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
