As we bid Vearl farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vearl is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pless Counts and Edna Counts (Russell); and his former wife Ava Jean Counts (Brooks). He is survived by: his children, Melanie Flood (Michael) of Hurley, MO, Brad Counts (Delinda) of Tulsa, OK and Melissa Ragsdale (Ricky) of Salem, MO; his sister Melba Lee Pflueger of Florida; his close friends, Treva Brown and Shirley Counts; and his nephews, Salem Allen Pflueger and Russell Counts Pflueger (Julia Harriss Pflueger). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
