He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Gott; his son Dennis Gott; his parents, Bryan Gott and Hattie Gott; and his siblings, Lola Girard, Shelby Gott, Georgia Mathes, Millard Gott, Mabel Adams and Wallace Gott.

He is survived by: his wife Kim Gott of Salem, MO; his son Roger Gott of Salem, MO; his stepchildren, Lisa Wulff (Steve) of Salem, MO, David Wynn (Melissa) of Salem, MO, Mark Wynn, Kristi of Salem, MO and Andrew Wynn (Catherine) of Salem, MO; his grandchildren, Amber Polizzi (Joe), Lindsey and Nathaniel Gott; his stepgrandchildren, Darian Gowdy (Rob), Dawson Wynn, Eavie Wynn and Sadie Wynn; his great grandchildren, Maria, Lydia, Darci and Ruby; and his close friends, Carl and Frankie Eichenberger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
