He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Ellis and Harriett June Benner (Huff); and his sister Carolyn Weber. He is survived by: his wife Linda Vasser; his children, Heather Hinkle (Kent) of Clifton Hill, MO and Dean Benner (Lisa) of Salisbury, MO; his grandchildren, Leah Hinkle, Kaylyn Hinkle, Colton Benner, Aubrey Benner and Austin Benner; and his brother Gary Benner (Susie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
