She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolland Shover and Garnet Shover (Holmes); and her siblings, Joel Kent, William Joseph, Terry Max and Sue Ann.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Kelcie Boss (Terry) of Liberty and Mark Schluckebier (De-De) of Troy, Ohio; her brother Craig Shover (Joani) of Blue Springs, Missouri; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Boss, Joshua Boss, Zachary Boss (Jenna), Grace Barnhart (Phil) and Allie Schluckebier; and her great grandchildren, Milo Boss, Casper Boss and Eloise Kay Barnhart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Chariton County Child Welfare Committee, or St. Croix Hospice.
