He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leslie "Bill" Hurt Sr. and Helen Nadine Hurt (Scott). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Marie Allard (Hurt) and John Dakota "Cody" Hurt; his grandchildren, Rylan Lane Hurt, Reghan Marie Allard and Kylee Grace Hurt; his brothers, Richard (Helen), Warner, Jim (Valorie) and Don Hurt (Kassie); his brother-in-law Dal Daugherty (Trish); his siblings, William Leslie "Billy" Hurt, John Milton Hurt and Patricia "Trish" Gale Daugherty; his sisters-in-law, Linda, Carol and Marilyn Hurt; and his siblings' children, Justin Starr Daugherty, Warner Landon Hurt, Lisa Ann Hurt, Jennifer Dawn Hurt and Tena Marie Plotner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
