We announce the death of Carolyn Yvonne Ledbetter of Sarcoxie, Missouri, who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Jacobs and Velma Barnes Jacobs; her husband William D. Ledbetter; her daughter Cari Joann Hall; and her siblings, Deirdre Lowe and Larry Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Lynn Welde of Webb City and Jana Leigh Fuerst of Joplin; her grandchildren, Levi Welde, Leif Welde, Jordan Nichols (Steven) and Alexandra Fuerst; her great grandchildren, Myles Welde, Addison Nichols, Karlie Nichols and Jace Nichols; Mike Welde. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home (211 N 9th St, Sarcoxie, MO 64862). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Sarcoxie Cemetery.
