We announce the death of Elaine Louise Alberty (Savannah, Missouri), who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 57. Elaine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Marshall and Jeannine Marshall; her brother Alan Marshall; and her brothers-in-law, Michael Hopkins and Robert Pope.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick "Fritz" Alberty of Savannah, Missouri; her children, Scott Alberty, James Alberty of Saint Louis and Emma Alberty of Saint Joseph, Missouri; her siblings, Muriel Hopkins of Savannah, Missouri, Kathy Marshall of Sedalia, Missouri, Laura Pope of Carlsbad, California, Anne (David Barr) and Mark (Laura Marshall); and her brother-in-law Kurt (Stephanie Alberty). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Savannah United Methodist Church (103 N 4th St, Savannah, MO 64485). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Savannah United Methodist Church.
