He is survived by: his wife Joan Beverly Fournier; his daughters, Justine Govea (Sam Crabbe) and Michelle Govea; his grandchildren, Anthony (Sarah), Kristopher (Elizabeth), Mariah and Caleb (Justine); his great grandchildren, Weston, Autumn and Elise; and his sister Teresa Love.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Savannah High School marching band.
