He is survived by: his siblings, Alton Brooks Jr., La Juana Jean and Rosalind Jurhee; his children, Debora Conyers (Mark) of St. Joseph, Cheryl Gilley (Tim) of Eau Claire, WI and Kim Sheffield (Sue) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Seth Conyers, Joel Conyers, Nathan Gilley, Rebekah Chamberlain, Andrew Sheffield and Joseph Sheffield; and also Marylin. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
