He is survived by: his mother Ethel Boyles (Raines); his wife Diana Black; his children, Jim Boyles (Becky) of St. Joseph, Jason Boyles (Meagan) of Lenexa, KS and Shannon Ellis (Holt) of St. Joseph; and his sisters, Deanna Simms of Savannah and Donna Younglove of Quitman, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous family members.
