He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Farmer and Martha Farmer (Smith); his wife Mary Rose Warner; his son-in-law Robert Kerns; his siblings, Ruth Swan (Vernon), Richard, Roy (Donna) and Rex; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry and Charlotte Warner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Kerns of Savannah, Linda Reed (Olen) of Gower and Laura Farmer of Savannah; and his grandchildren, Allen Kerns (Shannon), Logan Reed (Sierra) and Lauren Bylewski (James).
