He is survived by: his parents, Sitha and Charles Matthews; his wife Rebekah Rutherford; his adoptive mother Billie Sue Sollars of St. Joseph, MO.; his birth mother Sitha Brindgar of Mammoth Cave; his children, Dallas Heald of Hasting, Tayler Williams (Ryan) of Saint Joseph, Coy Rutherford of Saint Joseph, Rebekah Sollars of Saint Joseph, Blayne Sollars, Annie Sollars and Abbie "Jew" Sollars; his grandchildren, Landon, Ryelynn, Brealynn, Dasan, Slate, Kayden, Truman and Maddison; and his siblings, Krickett Brinegar of Mammoth Cave, Saresa Shepherd of Platte City, MO, Mike Matthews, Darrin Sollars and Susan Sollars of Saint Joseph.
