He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dye and Helen Dye (Barton); his siblings, Duane, Darrell Dye and Margaret Hart; and his sons-in-law, Frank Ortega and Jeff Sampson.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Ortega of St. Joseph, Carolyn Sampson-Winger (Galen) of DeKalb, MO, David Dye (Paula) of Conroe, TX, Larry Dye (Tina) of Hockley, TX and Terry Dye of Savannah, MO; and his brother-in-law Bob Hart. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and was expecting his 1st great-great grandchild.
