He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bowman and Catherine Bowman (Steeby); his wife Cathy; his parents-in-law, Russell and Mary Barnes; and his grandchildren, Jay Bowman, Sr. and Stephanie Bradberry.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Bowman (Carl), Becky Kelly (Bill) and CJ Bowman (Jessica); his grandchildren, MaCray, Kaysha Hemphill (Tyler), Kirsten Hufford (Colton), Josh Hufford (Klaudia), Jaden Bowman (Chance), Jillian, Tyler Kelly (Dallas), Blake Kelly (Jace) and Joshua Kelly; and his siblings, Ernie Bowman and Margaret Lee Black.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Savannah Fire Volunteer's in Walt's Memory.
