He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Adel Wadlington; his parents, Cecil A. McElmurry and Hester McElmurry (Ross); his son-in-law Steve Millington; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Strong and Nick Liest.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Millington and Karen Slinkard (Richard Springs); his grandchildren, Craig Millington (Melissa) and Jennifer Elder (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Rylie, Hayes Millington, Jackson and Hudson Elder; and his sister Judy Liest. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel (115 W Hickory St, Scott City, MO 63780). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at the Lightner Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scott City Baptist Church building fund or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
