It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Eugene Bennett (Scott City, Missouri), born in Hot Springs, South Dakota, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Eugene Bennett and Shirley Bennett; and his grandson Riley Bennett. He is survived by: his spouse Kim Beussink; his children, Eric Bennett, Robert Bennett, Nicholas Essner (Kelli), Cassie Woodward (Lee) and Sarah Fry (Philip); his grandchildren, Ethyn Bennett, Emma Bennett, Bella Bennett, Peighton Bennett, Alek Jaco, Adelaide Woodward, Roxie Fry, Wrenley Bennett and Jackson Fry; his great grandchild Kohen Fowlkes; and his siblings, Gary Bennett, Liana Holt and Laura Dougard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel - Scott City (115 W Hickory St, Scott City, MO 63780). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
