He is survived by: his mother Gussie Essner (Hagan) of Jackson; his brother Michael Essner (Laura) of Shawneetown; his niece Janelle McDaniel (Caleb); his nephews, Addison and Blake Beaven of Oran; and his great-nieces, Kooper and Rhemi of Oran. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
