He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Joseph and Alice Sophie Dunn Braun, Sr.; his son-in-law Larry Dumey; his grandson Darryl Dumey; and his sister Leola Zimmer.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Maria Mirgaux of Scott City; his children, Michael Braun (Rhonda), John Braun (Donna) of Scott City, Alice Braun of Scott City and Anita Uelsmann (Jim) of Benton, Missouri; and his siblings, John Braun (Lynell) of Pearl River, Louisiana and Shirley Manton of Folsom, Louisiana. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
