We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Alice Marie Wenner of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Lees Summit, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis F. Rice and Arawana Rice (Branstetter); her husband Charles Austin Wenner; her daughter Deborah Lynn Wenner; and her brother Francis Rice.

She is survived by : her children, Teresa Black of Sedalia, Tammy Lewis (David) of Smithton and Charles J. Wenner (Joy) of Sedalia; her grandchildren, Daniel Ray Lewis (Jennifer), Deborah Marie Allen (Eric), Alex Joseph Wenner (Jennifer) and Austyn Klay Wenner; and her great grandchild Raelynn Allen.

A rosary was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Sacred Heart Chapel (421 W 3rd St, Sedalia, MO 65301). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (701 N Engineer Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301).

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
