Mr. Cusick was always smiling, always so soft-spoken that you had to listen carefully. I often saw Mrs. Cusick volunteering at the Open Door Thrift Shop and chatted with her as she ran errands around town. She often brought lunch to her husband at his shoe repair shop at 5th and Ohio in center-city Sedalia. Thank you, dear Mr. Cusick, for shining your light on our world to brighten the lives of so many folks. You remain an angel caught unawares. May your family's sadness during this time be softened by the wonderful memories of your life.”
