Betty E. Modde Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty E. Modde (Sedalia, Missouri), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Betty leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Betty may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Vaughn and Helen Vaughn; and her brother Dion Vaughn. She is survived by: her siblings, Mildred Farris and Edward Vaughn; her children, Brian De Lay, Chloe Moore and Michael De Lay; and her husband Terry Modde. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice in care of the funeral home.
