Billy Gene Neff Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Gene Neff of Sedalia, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Neff and Irma I. Hoehns Neff; his stepmother Ada Neff; and his former wife Nellie Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Merk Neff; his sons, William Neff (Amy) of Mulvane, Kansas, Dr. Jody Neff (Heidi) of Derby, Kansas and Kenny Neff (Julia) of Overland Park, Kansas; and his stepchildren, Tony Merk (Debra) of Warsaw, Missouri and Tina Merk Hart (Brady) of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition, the Sedalia 40&8 Voiture 333 will conduct a memorial tribute in his honor, with support from the Patriot Guard Riders. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributes to the Wounded Warriors Project in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
