Perkins; his children, Emerson, Luca and Rocco Perkins; the mother of his children Mandy Simpson; and his grandmother Ruth Perkins of Sedalia. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mandy Simpson for the benefit of BJ's children's education fund.
