With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Poppinga of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Kearn and Owida May Allen Kearn; and her sister Darlyne Cramer. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Glen Poppinga, John Andrew Poppinga (Christy) of Sedalia, William Allen Poppinga of Warsaw and Teresa May Poppinga (Anna E. Hazen) of Lees Summit. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or the charity of your choice, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
