He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lee, Sr. and Jewel Comfort (Hampton); his son Michael Comfort; and his siblings, Bob Comfort and Sue Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Denny; his children, Lisa Comfort of Sedalia and Paul Comfort (Donnie) of Nebraska; his grandchildren, Lindsey Pahlow and Jacob Michael Comfort; and his brother Jim Comfort. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be left in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
