While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Brant and Shirley Brant (Livingston); and his brothers, Tommy Brant and Steve Brant. He is survived by: his wife Monica Brant (Walje); his children, Danielle Brant of Kansas City and Josh Brant (Kyra) of Sedalia; and his sister Kathy Petersen (Mike) of Cassville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heckart Funeral Home & Cremation Services (903 S Ohio Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Sacred Heart Chapel (421 W 3rd St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
