He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry T. "Hank" Menefee and Jane Farrell Menefee; his wife Vera Lou Leach; and his brother Tom Menefee. He is survived by: his son Derreck F. Menefee; his sister-in-law Katherine Menefee of Gladstone; Milton and Polly Scott of Springfield.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Sedalia or Sedalia Lions Club in care of the funeral chapel.
