He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Paxton and Dora Paxton (McBain); and his sister Pamela Ramey. He is survived by: his children, Denise Meloy (Donnie) of Sedalia and Douglass Paxton (Heather) of Alton, IL; his siblings, Donnie Paxton (Patsy) of Sedalia and Janice Tucker (Wayne) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Madi Meloy (Jesse) of Sedalia and Evan Meloy of Sedalia; and his great grandchildren, Remy Reed and Roman Reed.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Disabled American Veterans in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
