It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar S. Friedly of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Friedly and Beulah E. Kerfoot Friedly; and his siblings, Ada Middleton, Elsie Thompson and Herschel Friedly.

He is survived by: his former wife Melinda Sue Turk; his wife Sue Friedly; his daughter Ginger R. Miller Kitchen (Mark) of Gilliam; and his sister Arreta Fowler of Moberly.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

“We spent lots of time together most always in the company of my dog tessa.whom Ed fondly called pooter He was really fond of Tess and looked forward to see her. He loved all wildlife especially birds that he always fed. He had turkeys on the farm who visited his back yard daily to eat. Just lately he said a possum came every evening to eat under bird feeders. Ed was a master at gardening and always seemed to have an abundance of vegetables. Will never forget Ed my friend”
