She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur C. Kroeger and Gladys Kroeger (Rice); her spouse Arba Guy Abney; and her siblings, Arthur C. Kroeger, Jr. and Norma Gayle Collier.

She is survived by: her sons, Myron Andrew Abney of Otterville, MO, Christopher Lee Abney of Smithton, MO and Mark Allen Abney (Lori) of Clinton, MO; her grandchildren, Bryan Abney, Michele McCormick (Justin), Carrissa Thorpe (Kenzie), Luke Abney (Jessica), Jesse Jo Eason (Derek), Drew Abney, Ryan Jennings (Mindy) and Cheyenne Blankenship; and her sisters, Mina Williams of Sedalia, Joyce Bass of Sedalia and Patsy Harrison (Michael) of Sedalia, MO.. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church or to the Sedalia Children's Therapy Center in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
