He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Boyer Toliver; and his siblings, Randy Dean Petree (Julie), Joe Petree and Diana Lynn Petree. He is survived by: his father Orval Petree; his wife Juanita Jean Petree; his daughters, Melissa Hemme (Gary) of La Monte, Bobbie Nosich (David Priesendorf) of Sedalia, Monica Lancaster (Chuck) of Sedalia and Carma Petree (Justin) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Alexis McCracken, Matthew Brandkamp, Stephen Brandkamp, Carly Nosich, Mason Lancaster and Shayla Kindle; and his siblings, Mitch Petree (Debbie), Cindy Petree, Chris Stauts (Andy), Cheryl Bell (Michael) and Jamie Cramer (Dudley). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
