It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Irene Durrill of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Shipps and Iva Mae Shipps; her former life partner Erney Durrill; her sisters, Evelina Turner and Rachel Vaughan; and her grandson Timothy Callahan.

She is survived by : her husband Sedalia Rug Cleaners; her son Thomas Durrill (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Amanda Durrill-Baughman (Martin Baughman), Brandon Durrill (Emily Hayworth-Durrill) and Brendan Durrill; and her great grandchild Breonna "Anna" Edwards.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Hickory Point Cemetery.
