It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Sue Embree of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helen Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Belsha and Woodrow Belsha; and her husband LeRoy Embree. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Hancock (Deana) and Douglas Hancock (Naomi); her stepchildren, Phillip Embree, James Embree, Ben Embree and Gail Moore; and her brother Tommy Belsha. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
