He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay H. Shelledy and Mildred Shelledy (Barnett); his wife Nancy Lee Shiffer; his siblings, Norma Jean Furnell and Carl Dean DeWitt; his stepdaughter Sandra Kay Maddy; and his grandchildren, Trevor Ray Vanderpool, LaKrista Michelle Griffin and Alyssa Jenelle Shelledy.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Marie Case; his children, Jancey Shelledy Taylor (John) of Sunrise Beach, MO, Jenein Sinclair (Steve) of Sedalia and Jackie Shelledy (Lisa) of Sedalia; his stepdaughter Sharon Sally Birdsong of Independence, MO; and his close friend Myrna Rosalie Edwards. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
