With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Alan Phillips (Sedalia, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2020 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Goldie, Sam Phillips, Viola and Warner Biggs; his brother Greg Porter; and his cousins, Susan Phillips and David Walker.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Porter (Biggs) of Sedalia; his fiancée Jenny Norman of Sedalia; his children, James Phillips of Kansas City, Russell Fox (Addy) of Kansas City, Derek Phillips of Sedalia, Bethany Phillips of Kansas City, Allison Stucker (Seth) of Sedalia, Ashlee Qualls (Jody) of Doniphan, MO and Jordyn Verhallen of Sedalia; his siblings, Kristina Kreisler (Robby) of Houstonia, Pam Atkinson (Brett) of Sedalia, Cindy Blatterman of Sedalia, Brenda Donnell of Marshall, MO and Eric Whittall of Sedalia; his father Ron Phillips (Janice) of Sedalia; his stepmother Carol Sandy of Sedalia; and his grandchildren, Jaelynn Qualls, McKenzie Verhaalen and Alex Verhaalen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
