He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hugh and Lona A. Smith (Boggs); and his brothers, Carliss Smith and Robert Smith. He is survived by: his wife Chris (Allen); his children, Teresa Smith of Indianapolis, IN, James Gregory Smith (Rachelle) of Tipton and Laura Franklin (Kevin) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, James, Katrina, Jessica, Dylan (Brittany), Willow and Easton; his sister Marjorie Cupples (Tommy) of Lakeview, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Smith of Nevada and Larry Allen. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
