Janice D. Barton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice D. Barton of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Crane, Missouri, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Willa Dean Steele (Metcalf); and her brothers, Don Steele and Jack Steele. She is survived by: her father John S. Steele; her husband Billy K. Barton; her daughters, Deanna Hope of Sedalia, Gwenda Barton of Springfield, MO, Kendra Barton of Sedalia and Sonya Schnicker (Kevin) of Osage Beach, MO; her grandchildren, Drew Hope of Kansas City, MO, Alexandria Russell (PJ) of Brandon, FL, Ashton Barton of Grain Valley, MO, Evan Schnicker (Cilinda) of Osage Beach, MO and Donovan Schnicker of Osage Beach, MO.; her great grandchild Civiyah Schnicker; her siblings, Kay Bequette of Marionville, MO and Eddie Steele of Livonia, MI; and her half-brothers, Harold Steele (Leann) of Crane, MO and Gary Steele (Sandy) of Crane, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
