He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Hunt (Gowens); his son Lawrence "Shorty" Hunt; his siblings, Jack, Virgil Spaulding and Beuna Fisher; and his son-in-law Richard Eads.
He is survived by: his father John B. Hunt; his wife Gertrude Irene Musslin; his daughters, Theresa R. Eads (late Richard) of Florence, MO, Loretta J. Nye of Green Ridge, MO and Monica E. Holman (Gary) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Rose Martin (Roy), Jessica Craig (Brandon), Timothy L. Nye of Andrew, Kimberly Nye (Adrian), Mallory Knight (Bret), Gavin Holman (Destiny), Maggie Craig (Daniel) and Mylanna Holman (Victor); and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Ashlee, McKinzey, Savannah, Elliott, Celestial, Bethany, Ryder and Colten. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants memorial contributions may be made to the family in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
