He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Wood; and his siblings, Sandra Kerns, Carolyn Kriesler and Larry Houston. He is survived by: his children, Herbert Roy Houston (Susan) of Smithton, Lanny Brian Houston (Penny) of Smithton, Cynthia Rae Anderson (Paul) of Smithton, Tracy Lynn Houston (Kristi) of Smithton and Sedalia; and his grandchildren, Agusta, Leslie, Aaron, Kelsey, Joe, Alyssa, Kyle and Brittany. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Bethany Baptist Church or the Salem Cemetery Fund, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
