He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest George Tatum and Opal Pauline Mickelsen Tatum; his wife Judith Leynette Tatum (Meyer); his daughter Leah Ritzo; his son-in-law Paul Manuel; his brother Jim Tatum; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Tatum and Wandy Tatum.

He is survived by: his children, Penny Camirand (Richard), Becky Manuel, E. Lee Tatum, Kenny Tatum, Unique Grimes (Alex), Bonnie Argenbright (Tyler) and Randy Tatum; his son-in-law Jim Ritzo; and his brothers, Jack Tatum (Helen) and Melvin Tatum. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
